The heat is here to stay. Just a few weeks after the monsoon season finished, we have finally arrived at our standard Dallas summer. The forecast for the next week shows 100's across the board. I'd say that we are looking at one more month of the super hot stuff. Even though it always seems that the cooler weather doesn't come until the end of October, there is something about the return to more spring like temperatures at the end of September and beginning of October that I find refreshing.
Saturday Distraction: Are You Prejudiced?
I actually had to change an answer to get this result. Originally, the result was zero prejudice, but I didn't think that was correct. I think almost everyone has a little prejudice in them.

 You can't help but judge people a little based on your personal biases. But you tend to be aware of your prejudices, and you fight them the best you can. Most people are more like you than they'd care to admit... but it doesn't mean you shouldn't change. Remember to take each person as an individual. It's not fair to judge someone based on their background or subculture. |

Not only are you color blind, but you're also ethnicity blind, gender blind, and sexual orientation blind.
You don't judge someone until you truly know them. And even then, you're probably reluctant to judge.
You try to treat everyone equally. Everyone has a fair chance with you.

Unfortunately there was no question about stupid people. I am extremely prejudiced against them.
