2 Weeks Till Thanksgiving

Despite the fact that today is going to be sunny and 87, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. You still have time to be ahead of the curve by ordering your pies, cheesecakes and pumpkin breads in the next few days. There are only 10 days left before the ordering deadline on the 19th of November. Don't delay.

A Friend In Need

This weekend was a wonderful weekend for me to catch up with friends. Yesterday, I was able to see my best friend who, though it seems like months on end, I have not seen in a month. It was good to be able to sit down and talk again. Many times there are difficulties in our lives, but it is great to know that we are able to turn to others to ask for help. I'd like to thank her for being my friend through everything because that friendship means so much to me. It looks like this weekend’s rain will leave us for a short time to return again next weekend. Wasn't it great? It seemed like the perfect weather to cleanse and renew after so many months of dry, relentless weather. Three weekends in a row would be fantastic. I am thankful for the rain that we have received. Warm today...cold tomorrow.

I think that I was actually hot on the way into work today. The humidity and the temperature created a situation where the vent was just not quiet enough. That is OK because tomorrow evening we get some of the weather that I love. There is a chance for a wintry mix with the upcoming cold front; however, I think that will probably be mostly in the evening. I'll let you know if my right index finger starts hurting tomorrow. (Seriously, it is almost as reliable as the Farmer's Almanac.) Either way, Sugarless deLite doesn't plan on taking a snow day. We'll be here to serve you.
