Here is a good tip for everyone out there in the Richardson/Plano/Garland area: If you are looking for an honest and great auto mechanic, go to Gus' Auto Center (405 South Central Expressway Suite 116 Richardson, TX/972.235.1818). Apparently, I've blogged about him since my Google search turned up our blog as the tenth search result, but he's worth mentioning again. My family has been going to Gus for all of our auto needs for over 15 years now. It's hard to find an auto mechanic who will shoot straight with you. Gus does. I recommend him to everyone I know.
Thankfully, Rick was able to run me over to the auto shop yesterday after Gus had finished with the LeSaber. Also, a couple of my friends were kind enough to help me juggle my cars and get them home. This process included a brief stop at the Bavarian Grill. Commonly called the Grill among us, this German restaurant is another fine eatery to visit in the Dallas area. Located in Plano off of 75 and Parker in the Burlington Coat Factory shopping center, the Bavarian Grill has an expansive menu offering some excellent traditional German food. Additionally, they have a gorgeous selection of German biers, wines, and liquors. All of this, plus the live music, makes for a wonderful restaurant to sit down for a few hours and pass time with friends or family.
