After a beautiful day yesterday, the weather has changed to bring us our first dose of fall. We're going to be on the cooler side for the next few days, but today is the coldest of the bunch. After four days below the 70's, we'll pick back up with some slightly warmer weather for the weekend. The best part of it all is going to be the cooler evenings. It's time to start bringing out the big blankets.
My wife and I took advantage of the nice day on Sunday and went down to the Farmer's Market in downtown Dallas. After a bit of a drive through downtown and Deep Ellum, we finally located a set of signs that pointed us in the right direction. We did some lite produce shopping and picked up our vegetables for the week. We also got a ghost pumpkin to make pumpkin pie with. I had never seen a white pumpkin before, but these are supposed to be a sweeter variety and that seemed like it would work well for a pie.
