This election cycle is certainly making for more late nights of following the news. The political theater refuses to lower the curtain, and political junkies like myself are left to watch the data pore across the screens. Heck, I even skipped a Netflix movie to finish out the cliff-hanger in Indiana. After all of the results were finalized, the Democratic race looks similar to what it did before yesterday-both sides are dug in and ready for a long fight.

A Friend In Need

This weekend was a wonderful weekend for me to catch up with friends. Yesterday, I was able to see my best friend who, though it seems like months on end, I have not seen in a month. It was good to be able to sit down and talk again. Many times there are difficulties in our lives, but it is great to know that we are able to turn to others to ask for help. I'd like to thank her for being my friend through everything because that friendship means so much to me. It looks like this weekend’s rain will leave us for a short time to return again next weekend. Wasn't it great? It seemed like the perfect weather to cleanse and renew after so many months of dry, relentless weather. Three weekends in a row would be fantastic. I am thankful for the rain that we have received.
