Summer's Last Stand
Today is the last day of summer and we are going to be reminded of the true power of Texas heat. Today's high will be 98 degrees, not the Nick Lachey band, but the actual temperature. After all of the nice weather that we have had over the last few weeks, it is hard to believe. This will be the hottest last day of summer recorded in Dallas. Thankfully, the next ten days shows a couple days of rain and only one a day near the upper 80's. It may be hot today and warm tomorrow, but autumn is just around the corner.

This British beauty made her initial mark as a pop singer but really saw her star rise when she took on the roll of Rose Tyler in a little show known as Doctor Who.
